It’s true, us girls like to be a bit spoiled sometimes. Even though we say we don’t need any gifts on Valentine’s day, we know we want them, we just don’t want to say that. And I think most of us like to give gifts too, the only problem with this whole thing is money. Especially if you are in high school or a student, maybe you are looking for a job and you just can’t afford something expensive. Yes, you would love to buy your loved ones everything they want, but that is usually not possible. And I think we tend to appreciate that gifts that come from the heart – in that case the price definitely doesn’t matter. I gathered some gift ideas that won’t empty out your wallet.
Hi! I’ve been a lazy blogger lately, but I have a feeling that spring will give me a bit more energy. At least I’m one of those people who get their energy from the sun :). Before days get warmer, I have to show you some of the styles I loved wearing through the winter.
I don’t think that there is an outfit that can be appropriate for so many occasions as white shirt and jeans. It is simple, comfortable and nice, you don’t have to worry about a thing even if you have a date right after your last lecture at college.
I can even see myself wearing this outfit to a party. The only problem is that it can be a bit plain. Well, there isn’t a problem that can’t be fixed, all we need are some beautiful accessories.
Let me clear something important first 🙂 This is not a recipe or instructions how to make cake pops. This is just a post about my decision to learn how to make cake pops and my first steps. Through time, I will post some more photos, and hopefully become better and better, until I’m able to do something like this:
Valentine’s Day is generally the holiday of lovers. But it’s also a day on which you can eat as many chocolate hearts as you want. And get heart shaped sweets and chocolates.
Hey hey! Hope you are having a nice December. I was stuck in the house with a fever for a whole week, but I must say I used my time productively. I got to spent some time with my mum, who also had a cold, and my dog, who I must say misses me the same if I leave for one hour or one week. And I’m slowly getting through my college books. And I decided it’s time to make Christmas presents. Buying them didn’t seem as a possibility, I’m still a bit skeptical when it comes to internet shopping and I think it’s nicer to give something you have made yourself. I must give my mum credits for the paper bags because she wanted them for her co-workers and when I was making them, I thought they would be appropriate for my gifts too. And if any of my friends is reading this, NO, there won’t be a single mention of what is in these bags 🙂
Bad weather has good consequences on me, as I become quite creative when I am stuck in my apartment. I just adore everything personalized and handmade, so I try to fill my world with as many cute sewed, painted or colored things that I can. I hope this post will inspire you to do something special for yourself or for the people you love.
My newest project is a new romantic and cute (but not too girly) notebook for this school year. So I found a plain one and decided to spice it up! I taped a beautiful retro paper all around it and decorated it with some lace and flowers that were lying around the house. The only bad side effect was the smell of the glue all around the house;) In the end, I discovered I had used all of the leftovers from a previous project, a photo-book, made for one of my favorite college subjects, Photography. That one was a real challenge, because I wanted to use an old projector lens, which meant i had to precisely cut a circle into a thick book cover, and afterwards, I sewed lace all around it into a cardboard paper. I was always a stubborn girl and in this case, it really helped:) So here are the pictures of the finished projects and I hope you like it.
