I know I have been away lately, but I got some great news I would love to share with you – I got a job at the City Museum! So I had to dedicate the last few weeks to learning a billion new stuff about history and communication, and now, I am preparing for the exam I have to take to start guiding groups around the museum. But I just have to take some breaks to write something here, right?:)
From time to time some amazing opportunities for bloggers pop up and that is exactly what happened this summer when Grazia, in collaboration with Frey Wille, invited bloggers to create a look with their gorgeous jewellery. I have admired Frey Wille jewellery since I first saw it – it stands out with their detailed design, it is timeless and it is one of those statement pieces my jewellery drawer is waiting for.
I wanted to share with you one of my favourite outfits of summer 2016. This dress is just the right combination of simple and colourful, with just the right portion of playful and classy. It’s one of those dresses you can wear for a brunch with the girls, a date in the evening or a night of partying. Because of the bold prints you don’t have much work with the accessories. A ring in matching colours was just enough. And these ballerinas by Zaxy are one of the comfiest things I have in my closet:)
I’m one of those girls who would rather spend more money on bras and lingerie than a classic pair of jeans. Beautiful lingerie can make you feel great about yourself and gives you confidence. Sometimes it’s a shame to cover it up and summer temperatures offer the perfect opportunity to show what we are hiding in our underwear drawer. Since summer is filled with festivals I prepared an outfit I would definitely take with me. You only need 5 pieces of clothing to create three looks that will get you in the summer festival mood – two lace bralettes, a silk slip, a long skirt and a jacket. Of course, there are also accessories: flowers, bracelets, rings, flip flops… Life is better in flip flops, right?
The festival fashion is a big part of my summer style, not just because I love to visit festivals but also because I adore that boho chic style. Flower crowns and hair chains have completely captured my attention and I found some interesting styles I would love to try out. Last year I bought some flower crowns during the sales and this year, my focus is on all kind of chains.
I love that time of the year when it gets warm enough to bring out the light spring/summer dresses. It’s what I feel best in and could wear it through the whole year if it was warm enough here. Well, at least I can wear them from April to October and then they wait in the closet in expectation of spring. I bought this dress last summer during the sales
Ljubljana Fashion week started on Wednesday and I decided for a bit more minimalistic look for the first day. I also had my camera with me, so I really needed a backpack, there was no way I could fit everything in a purse and I wanted to feel comfortable.
This year’s H&M loves Coachella collection is just perfect for me. My hippie soul is jumping up and down right now and my love for festivals grew just by looking at these clothes. Since it’s sunny and warmer day by day, I just had to show you some of my favourite pieces that will hopefully find a way to my closet. This collection really fits my personal style, so I found some of the similar pieces of jewellery and clothes already at home, such as denim shorts and one necklace that resembles the one in the third photo.
Well, I didn’t leave the store empty handed when I saw the Coachella collection for the first time and I already bought an upper arm bracelet … I think I can’t stop there 🙂
The prom season is here and all of the girls (and some boys) are running around the stores, searching for the perfect dress, often ending at a dressmaker, and I won’t even start talking about the shoes, bag, make up, haircut… Well, this is what I wore to my prom 5 years ago. Time runs fast, doesn’t it?
I really wanted to do a photo shoot here for a long time. In my place, it’s the most photogenic part of Ljubljana, even though it is just an underpass from city center to park Tivoli, which are usually described as beautiful. For me, this place is perfect. And a bit more classy look was the perfect contrast to walls, covered in graffiti.
